Vision
The information technology unit aspires to attain scout in developing information technology systems and several technical services fields to keep pace with scientific and technological advancements. Moreover to improve students and academic staff members to reach a high-efficiency level enabling the faculty to compete locally and internationally.
Mission
The information technology unit works on spreading electronic services culture through information networks at a rapid pace. To collect, save, and use data. To innovate new educational methods for academic staff members, students, and employees to serve educational, research, and social branches.
Unit’s general goal
To spread electronic services culture between academic staff members, students, and employees. In addition to activating the service by providing effective communication mechanisms to shift to electronic communication to serve educational, research, and social branches.
Goals:
• Follow internal network workflow.
• Coordinate with university network administration to achieve required goals and policies.
• Activate students' and academic staff members’ e-mail addresses.
• Update faculty’s data on the electronic gate.
• Cooperate in transferring the courses to electronic courses.
• Do workshops for academic staff members, students, and the administrative body to serve the unit’s goals.
• Announce the schedules for different educational programs in the faculty.
• Provide technical support for electronic systems users.
• Collect faculty sectors' news and announce them on the website.
