Overview

The Faculty of Nursing SCU was established upon Republican Decree No. 276 in 2006 to meet the needs of nursing specialists who represent a significant and essential sector in the healthcare field in the Canal region. The study in the faculty started in the same year of its establishment.
The faculty is located on the campus of the Suez Canal University in kilo 4.5 on the ring road in Ismailia Governorate. The faculty has two buildings (the administrative building on a flat area of 1000 square meters and the building of terraces on a flat surface of 2200 square meters).


The Faculty of Nursing (SCU) adopted a new educational method based on:
•    Problem-based learning
•    Community-based education
•    Integration of nursing sciences with medical sciences and humanities
•    Competency-based learning
•    Evidence-based nursing education
•    Multi-professional education

The Faculty of Nursing, Suez Canal University (SCU), aspires to obtain leadership and excellence in nursing education to keep pace with the development of health care locally and regionally.

Our main aim is to graduate qualified nursing specialists who can provide unique health care through the acquisition of educational, research, and service competencies that meet the needs of society in a professional and ethical framework.
